Hi! I’m Linda Carteri, Owner and Lead academic support specialist at HAVEN Learning Studio (formerly Learning Creatively Tutoring Co.).

With over a decade of classroom teaching experience and seven years as a private tutor, I specialize in helping students who struggle academically, especially in the area of literacy. I am passionate and experienced in working with those with learning differences—especially those with ADHD, Dyslexia, and other neurodivergent profiles. I’ve supported countless students in building confidence, developing skills, and learning in ways that finally make sense for them.

But this work isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal. I have two daughters, one of whom has been diagnosed with ADHD, and I have ADHD myself. I understand firsthand how traditional learning environments can overlook the needs—and incredible potential—of neurodivergent learners. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create a supportive, dynamic, and fun space where students feel safe to take risks, be themselves, and experience success.

I am a certified ADHD coach (Udemy) and utilize the Orton-Gillingham approach and UFLI Foundations, structured, evidence-based methods proven to support students with Dyslexia and language-based challenges. Every child I work with receives customized programming tailored to their unique learning needs, interests, and strengths. I also stay in close communication with families—because I believe that collaboration is key and that educational support should always be shaped around the learner, not the other way around.

I bring lessons to life with play-based learning, games, and resources I create myself, all designed to make learning not just effective—but genuinely joyful. I believe that when students are having fun and feel truly seen, the learning sticks for life.
